ORDINARY는 우리 일상의 어떤 장면을 담아내는 리소-포토진 시리즈입니다.

우리가 날마다 마주하는 순간들은 믿을 수 없을 만큼 입체적이고 수많은 세부로 가득 차 있습니다. 그런데 흔히 접하는 (CMYK로 인쇄된) 컬러 지면들은 그 모든 걸 평평하게 만들어 버릴지도 모릅니다. 이 포토진에서 블랙과 레드 듀오톤으로 리소인쇄된 일상의 어떤 장면들은 좀 다르게 자신의 속살을 드러내고 당신의 시선을 끌어당깁니다. 건축가 유한짐이 서울의 골목을 살피며 포착한 일군의 사물들은 비로소 조금은 특별한 빨강으로 변모합니다.

ORDINARY is a series of riso-zines that capture the scenes of ordinary daily life.

The everyday moments we encounter are incredibly three-dimensional and filled with countless details. Yet, the color photographs printed in CMYK on flat paper distort reality and flatten everything out. Within these pages, printed in duotone risograph colors, each ordinary object reveals its details, albeit insufficiently, drawing the reader’s gaze towards itself. In this way, what once seemed insignificant becomes something special.
